Clicking through the web infographic

Abbott, a healthcare company, wanted to create an infographic for World Diabetes Day in 2013 to help raise awareness about what life can be like for an insulin-using diabetic, monitoring and managing their insulin throughout the day.

Since there was so much information, we decided against a static image that might be glanced at and forgotten. Instead, we used a fun interactive format to make it more engaging—“walking” through the infographic on Abbott’s website was a good way to both focus people’s attention on smaller pieces of information and simulate actually going through the day.

My Role

I worked together with the designer to come up with the interactive format, and I built the interactive infographic using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
